Sophia Bush and Pamela Adlon will guest-star in upcoming episodes of NBC’s hit family drama, it was announced by creator Dan Fogelman on Saturday. While Fogelman was mum on details about Bush’s role, he teased of Adlon’s character, he teased that she factored into an upcoming story line for Randall (Sterling K. Brown). “Sterling has an unbelievable arc in the back half of the season,” he said, “and she plays an important role in the story.”
Bush, an alum ofOne Tree Hill, starred inChicago P.D.and also appeared onChicago MedandChicago Fire. Adlon created and stars in FX comedyBetter Things, and her credits includeKing of the Hill,Californication, andLouie.
This Is Usreturns to the air after a two-month hiatus on Jan. 14, and EGOT winner John Legend will pop up in the winter premiere.
The season 4 guest roster ofThis Is Usalso includes Omar Epps, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Tim Matheson, and Timothy Omundson.
