The Kardashians Think Jordyn Woods’ Interview with Jada Pinkett Smith Is ‘Ridiculous’: Source
When Jordyn Woods‘ interview with Jada Pinkett Smith airs on Friday, the Kardashians will certainly be keeping up with the discussion.
Woods, 21, will speak with longtime family friend Pinkett Smith for Red Table Talk on Facebook Watch, presumably to address her alleged affair with Khloé Kardashian‘s boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
“The family is watching what Jordyn will be up to next. It’s always interesting for them to see how former friends act once they are not a part of the family any more,” a source tells PEOPLE.
“They find it ridiculous that Jordyn claims she wants her story out. It’s like, who cares about your story? You behaved inappropriately and hurtful — that’s the whole story,” the source says Woods, who moved out of best friend Kylie Jenner‘s home after the scandal broke on Feb. 19.
While the famous family is shaking their heads at Woods’ decision to sit down with Pinkett Smith, they have no hard feelings against the 47-year-old Girls Trip actress.
“About Jada giving her a platform, it’s not anything they are holding against Jada,” the source says.
Earlier this week, Woods briefly went live on Instagram to reveal that she’s filming Pinkett Smith‘s talk show.
In the livestream, Woods was filmed from behind on set as she approached the table wearing a black turtleneck dress and sneakers. The camera followed her as she took her seat, turning to face viewers directly with a serious stare.
The interview will most likely mark Woods’ first official, in-depth comments about the alleged infidelity. (Last week, she indirectly addressed it at the launch event for her Eylure X Jordyn Woods Lashes in Los Angeles, telling attendees: “Thank you guys for coming out and supporting me through everything that’s going on. It’s been real, and Eylure has been super real with a project I’ve been working on for over nine months right now.”)
The show is hosted by Pinkett Smith, her daughter Willow Smith and her mother Adrienne. Woods, whose late father was a television sound engineer, has known the Smith family for years, and Pinkett Smith’s son Jaden, 20, is actually the one who introduced Woods to Jenner when they were children.
Although Woods has yet to make a public apology, a source told PEOPLE that the former Good American squad member — she has since been erased from Khloé’s denim brand’s website — immediately knew she made a mistake after allegedly hooking up with the 27-year-old athlete earlier this month.
“She was drunk but not blacked out,” the source said. “Afterwards she knew she had messed up and was like ‘I gotta go, I gotta go.’ It was a one-time thing.”
And while Woods has made numerous attempts to apologize since news of the cheating scandal broke, what she’s telling the Kardashians allegedly isn’t consistent.
“Her story keeps changing a bit, and it’s almost like she is digging herself deeper,” an insider previously said. “It’s been a week now of nonsense explaining from her side. Everyone thinks she wanted to hook up with Tristan and she just didn’t think she was gonna get caught.”
Regardless, a reconciliation between Woods and the Keeping Up with the Kardashians stars seems unlikely.
“The Kardashians are feeling 100 percent done with Jordyn” and that they’re “pissed” that Woods may try to make amends during her public appearance on the show, a source previously told PEOPLE.
“They’re saying she should’ve reached out directly, but she did,” the source said. “They were just too pissed to listen to her or pay any attention. On the flip side, if she says anything except ‘I’m sorry’ or tries to trash Tristan, that’s going to push Khloé back to him and destroy Jordyn. “
“Tristan has been telling Khloé that he feels bad and that they have a kid together and that he disrespected her as the mother of his child. He’s trying to make amends,” the source added.
Woods’ rep is not commenting on the scandal. Thompson and Kardashian’s reps have not returned PEOPLE’s requests for comment.
